This project was a contest for graphic designers to submit their designs for the 2017 Community Catalyst Awards Celebration marketing material:

• 1) Bi-folded Event Invitation for mailing
• 2) One-page Promotional E-flyer
• 3) 32 page Program Book with ads
• 4) 1 Powerpoint background slide template

When I thought about our current social and political divisions, I felt that it’s important to value individualism, while fostering collaborations to make our communities stronger. This inspired me to create a geometric flower for this year’s design.

If you zoom into the center details of the flower, you’ll see that there are smaller parts that make up the flower. When we contribute our individual time and effort into a community, that’s when we can grow into a better society where people are not hated for their differences, but empowered to do more.
