For the past couple of years since this client has moved into Washington D.C., he’s been biking all around the city. When I talked to him, it’s almost as if he couldn’t contain how much fun he has when he’s on his bike, and explore the city.

D.C.’s area is 68.34mi², hence the name of this company. He wanted to give tours, on bikes! He wanted a fun, athletic and youthful look to the logo. And he definitely wanted to incorporate into the design, the three stars above two bars, which is part of the D.C. flag.

Although we played with other designs, we ended up with a circle logo. It’s like the wheels on bikes, and the vibe of the logo was the most playful one.
