Pho VietFlare
family owned Vietnamese restaurant
Phở is one of those delicious comfort foods. (And FYI, it’s pronounced “fuh”… not “fo”.) It’s a street food from Vietnam: noodle soup with rice noodles, herbs, vegetables, and meat. (Personally, I like to drown my phở with LOTS of Sriracha sauce!)
Phở VietFlare has their own twist of the broth since it’s a very common dish. Along with other popular entrees, their chef knows how to jazz up the flavors!

As I was converting the sketches into vectors, I started playing with negative spaces and realized I can hide a big smile into the bowl. I've always liked hidden meanings or images in logos, so I was pretty excited to present it as one of the ideas. Do you see it?
When I started designing the menu, the client said some of the restaurant patrons aren’t familiar with Vietnamese food. To address that issue, we incorporated beautiful photographs so people know what they’re ordering.
